An inky colour, with intense aromas of black cherries, blackberries and a hint of wood on the nose. Elegant on the palate, with a long, fruity finish. A very fine wine.

Topographie

Wooded estate at 300 m altitude.

Sol

Limestone and sandy-clay. A structure that allows drainage and a depth that preserves freshness.

Atmosphère

Mixture of essences and aromatic plants, alternating light and shade, cool microclimate.

Travail

Hand-harvested in 15 kg crates. One night in cold storage, manual sorting, de-stemming, then filling the vats by gravity.

Vinification

In stainless steel vats, pre-fermentation cold maceration for 48 hours. Vatting time of around 20-25 days with gentle daily pumping over.

Élevage

18 months in 450-litre oak barrels.
