Gigondas, at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail.

La Péniche is 3 years old in 2025. From the hangar in Beaumes-de-Venise to this cellar, it took 7 campaigns, the experience of all the bumps, all the shortcomings and the design of the ideal tool.

We thought of it as a trajectory, a line: the one that the berry follows from the harvest crates to bottling.

Semi-buried, you’d think it was hidden.
Its Canadian well, solar panels and hanging garden make it a kind of almost passive habitat, for biodiversity, our work and our team.

A cellar for experimentation and research.

Barrels from different coopers and toasters, concrete eggs, amphoras, stainless steel and concrete vats: all have passed through the Piéblanc winery. Some, like the barrels from Maison Chassin (Burgundy) and the Italian amphoras, have stayed.
All were “the choice of experience”.

In the cellar, a simple, unprejudiced approach: let the tasting decide.

Together, around the same passion.

Matthieu

Founder of Piéblanc, master of cellar work and guardian of the joie de vivre “made in Piéblanc”! Every day, in the cellar, in France and abroad, he meets wine lovers, listens, shares and experiments.

Xavier

Known as “Le Chef”, Xavier tends to the vines like one tends to a garden. He circles the Dentelles, scours the islets and makes sure that on D-Day we can pick the best possible harvest.

Manon

High priestess of the Piéblanc soul, of commerce and of the joys of administration! She is the “north star” of the whole Piéblanc team.

Maguelone

Manon’s right-hand woman, she’s enthusiastic about a future that may or may not be a happy one!

Cyrielle

As a work-study student, she grew up with Piéblanc and brought her gentle touch to customer relations.

Clément

Calm and attentive, he accompanies Xavier as he works the vines. And with his expert eye, he guarantees that the equipment is working properly!

John

A friend of Clément’s, he helps Xavier with his work in the cellar and in the vineyard!

Adrien

A tractor driver by trade, he’s much more remembered for his gentle, thoughtful and slightly “mad dog” character! He’s the one who implements Xavier’s instructions in the vineyard, labels the bottles and prepares the pallets for Manon.

Sarah

A free spirit, she helps Matthieu and Manon to make Piéblanc shine!
